When Encompass Communications and Learning approached us to name and design a logo for their new comprehensive, performance coaching platform, we rose to the challenge—and Ascend was born. This platform helps managers and sales directors to assess competencies, communications and performance trends in their sales force. Opportunities are then identified and customized for training, developing, and inspiring the sales team to ascend to new heights. The symbol we designed represents a “forwards and upwards” direction, depicting momentum and transparency while being attractive and professional-looking. The versatility of the symbol also hints at the flipped pages of a report—an essential tool in the coaching platform.
